Accepted Students to the School of Veterinary Medicine
Once accepted to SNU, students will receive a welcome packet with information and forms pertaining to travel, Student Visa requirements, financial aid, and housing to assist with their preparations for arrival and matriculation to St. Nicholas University: School of Veterinary Medicine on the island of Dominica.
Upon acceptance, students are required to pay a non-refundable, $1,000 tuition deposit. The full $1,000 tuition deposit will be credited to the student’s account.
St. Nicholas University: School of Veterinary Medicine is an international veterinary school, and operates on a three semester per year basis.
This allows you to finish studies sooner than typical, without compromising high standards of education.
- General Registration for courses takes place each semester during the period designated by The University. Late registration may be permitted in accordance with The University’s general regulations (late fees applies).
- Students must be registered for examinations according to the University guidelines for examinations.
- Where there is dissatisfaction with the work of a student, the Director of the School may report the matter to the Dean and the Faculty Board, which may recommend to the Academic Board that the student be debarred from the examination and either repeat the course or be required to withdraw from the Faculty of Veterinary Medical Sciences.
- Attendance IN EXCESS OF 80% IS MANDATORY IN ALL COURSES. Students are required to inform the Office of the Director, School of Veterinary Medicine within one week of any absence from any part of a course. Late excuses will not be accepted.
